3M™ Vibration Damping Tapes 434, 435, 436
3M™ vibration damping tapes are low temperature dead-soft aluminum foils coated with a proprietary 3M viscoelastic pressure-sensitive adhesive.3M vibration damping foils are parts made from them are designed for direct, pressure sensitive application to metal and composite panels for vibration damping
purposes.
The unique combination of low-temperature 3M viscoelastic polymer adhesive and thin aluminum constraining layer have proven to have an exceptional ability as damp resonant vibration mitigators in the temperature range of -76° to +68°F (-60° to +20°C).
3M™ Vibration Damping Tape 434
3M Vibration Damping Tape 434 is a 7.5 mil silver, dead soft aluminum foil backed anti-vibration tape designed to reduce structure-borne noise and fatigue in metal and composite panels and support structures. Resists weather, UV degradation and flame and can perform in temperatures as low as -76°F/-60°C. Meets the requirements of F.A.R. 25.853(a).

3M™ Vibration Damping Tape 435 is a 13.5 mil silver, dead soft aluminum foil backed anti-vibration tape. It is designed to reduce structure-borne noise and fatigue in metal and composite panels and support structures. This durable tape will resist moisture, weather, UV degradation and flame. It is a long-aging tape designed to specifically perform in temperatures as low as -76°F/-60°C. Meets the requirements of F.A.R. 25.853(a).

3M Vibration Damping Tape 436 is a 17.5 mil silver, dead soft aluminum foil backed anti-vibration tape. It is designed to reduce structure-borne noise and fatigue in metal and composite panels and support structures. This durable tape will resist moisture, weather, UV degradation and flame. It is a long-aging tape designed to specifically perform in temperatures as low as -76°F/-60°C. Meets the requirements of F.A.R. 25.853(a).
3M™ Damping Foil 2552
3M Damping Foil 2552 consists of a room temperature pressure sensitive viscoelastic polymer on a dead soft aluminum foil and is designed for application to vibrating panels and support members. This tape's unique construction provides it with the exceptional ability to control resonant vibrations in the temperature range of 32° to 140°F (0° to 60°C), with survivability from -25° to 175°F (-32° to 80°C).
3M™ Vibration Damping Tape 2542
A room temperature pressure sensitive viscoelastic polymer on dead soft aluminum foil designed for application to vibrating panels and support members, it acts as a constrained layer damper (CLD) with exceptional ability to control resonant vibrations in the temperature range of 32° to 140°F (0° to 60°C). The adhesion characteristics of this material allow application to many substrates making it ideal for a wide variety of automotive and industrial applications.
