In this edition of Faces of JBC, we got to talk to a member of our Denver team who has been with us since 2000! Cynthia Mendoza has been a committed team member for almost 25 years and loves sharing her wealth of knowledge and experience as a production associate with her fellow team members. Read below to hear what Cynthia has learned from her time at JBC and how she shares those experiences with her fellow JBC family!
Where did you work prior to JBC?
I have been with the organization for nearly 25 years.
Why did you decide to become a production associate and what do you like most about it?
I love the fact that I am constantly learning and having the opportunity to pass along the knowledge I have gained throughout the years to my co-workers.
Describe your role at JBC and how it fits with the big picture.
As a production associate, I am committed to thriving in every aspect of my role and again, transmitting my knowledge to my teammates to ensure we are all at the level that the market demands.
What attracted you to JBC and what is your favorite part of your production associate role?
I was attracted to the opportunity to learn more about the machinery and engineering involved with my role.
Tell us about the team you work on.
I consider our team to be very efficient and willing to work beyond our regular schedule to serve our customers. Also, we have gained a strong sense of unity through the years we have worked together.
What is the best/most unique part of working at JBC?Working along with one of the best teams I have ever worked with. |
SO far, what has been your favorite project since working here?The challenges we faced while learning the SpaceX project a few months back. |

What are you most proud of while working here at JBC?Leadership and teamwork. |
How do you feel you have grown professionally/expectations for professional growth?
I feel I have grown professionally as a leader as I have developed leading skills to help my coworkers over the years. I have also developed quality skills, which I have learned throughout all the challenging projects JBC has had. As for expectations for more professional growth, some would be learning more from the vendor needs, new production, and new equipment.
What is your greatest motivation?
Learning new things and being able to transfer that knowledge to my team to assist them with their needs.
What are some of your interests outside of work?
Spending time with my family, hiking, and exploring new adventures.
What is something that most people don't know about you?
Before becoming a technician, I wanted to be a nurse and still have basic nursing knowledge.
