Our COVID-19 Response PPE Manufacturing
Putting our manufacturing expertise and resources to work in support of our front-line healthcare workers and first responders by helping to narrow the healthcare supply chain gap with components for ventilators, COVID-19 face shields and other high-demand life-saving equipment.
An Unprecedented Nationwide Challenge
The coronavirus pandemic and subsequent COVID-19 outbreak has created a global crisis unlike anything we’ve ever seen. The world was ill-prepared for a healthcare war on this scale and nowhere is this more evident than in our hospitals and other healthcare facilities.
One of the side-effects of the ongoing battle against the coronavirus has been a severe shortage of critical care equipment – specifically mechanical ventilators – and personal protective equipment (PPE) like respirators, surgical masks, face shields and goggles. Even with the infusion of supplies from the strategic stockpile and other federal resources, there will not be enough medical supplies, including ventilators, to respond to the projected COVID-19 outbreak.
Robust & Ready Supply Chain Solutions
While the traditional distribution channels do their best to ramp up production, JBC is using our over 30 years of technical and manufacturing expertise to produce critical healthcare equipment components and PPE at scale.
JBC has both the capability and capacity to manufacture large quantities of the die-cut seals, gaskets and other specialty components used in the manufacture of mechanical ventilators and other highly sought-after life-saving devices.
We’re also putting our plant to work assembling finished face shields and manufacturing face shield components to support other manufacturers. Together we can help close the supply gap and get these critically important pieces of equipment into the hands of our nation’s doctors, nurses and first responders immediately.
